Spend two minutes in silence reflecting on the majesty of God. Then read aloud together Psalm 145:3:

"Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom."

Invite the group to briefly share one thing that has caused them to marvel at God over the past fortnight.

Leader Insight

Acts 2:33 sits within Peter's Pentecost sermon. Peter explains that the risen Jesus has been exalted by the Father and now reigns in glory. The outpouring of the Holy Spirit is evidence that Jesus is alive, reigning, and continuing God's work among His people. God's glory is not merely brilliance or power—it is the fullness of His character, majesty, holiness, love, and authority revealed through Christ.

Prayer

Heavenly Father,

We praise You for Your glory, majesty, and power. Thank You for exalting Jesus and revealing Your greatness through Him. Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who lives within us and helps us know You more deeply. Open our eyes to see Your glory, soften our hearts to follow Your leading, and help us live each day under the lordship of Christ. May our lives bring honour to Your name and reflect Your goodness to those around us.
